Rollover Price Review 2010 Submission to OFGEM
Assisted with the 2010 Price Review - Rollover submission to OFGEM.
Collated relevant information on Reactive Compensation for 2008 to 2009, checking with master substation running arrangements document and current installed compensation equipment.
Checks revealed mistakes in known asset base, which were subsequently corrected, such as including instances where Synchronous Reactive Compensators were removed from the system, but shown in situ.
Gathered information on existing OFGEM figures, Capex TPCR4 year 2010 and FLOP Analysis to obtain current demand at winter peak and generation backgrounds in year 2009. Read SQSS (System Quality of Supply Standard), and its glossary to fully gain an understanding of the company standards in relation to quality of supply issues, and apply them to the final submission.
Reviewed existing 2009 Price Review submission to ensure new 2010 submission was written in such a way to make it easily readable for the reader and OFGEM.
Wrote final report containing narratives to accompany text, to support the changes in demand, generation openings and closures, interconnector capacities, as well as changes to the licensed asset base such as new lines, transformers, circuit re tensioning to increase thermal capacity and reactive compensation equipment.
